At the beginning of July 2018, Peter Hoek was approached with the announcement that the Hoek group was nominated for “The Strongest Link” or in dutch “De Sterkste Schakel” Election. This election is an annual initiative of the regional business magazine Rijnstreek Business in collaboration with Grant Thornton, Teekens Karstens, the Chamber of Commerce, VNO-NCW Rhineland and numerous local business associations.

The Hoek group was nominated in the International Business category, together with a dozen other companies. After the moment of nomination, you, as a company are entering a whole process. This includes, among other things, multiple visits from juries that assess the company on: quality of service and customer focus, the online environment, innovation and vision for the future. All assessments were very positive for the Hoek group, leaving us with 6 other companies in the International Business category.
