Job Description
As a Controller, you are responsible for carrying out various tasks within the financial administration. In addition, you have a broad overview of the department and are able to anticipate required actions and provide support to your colleagues. You give functional guidance to your colleagues in the financial administration and contribute to a smooth and accurate month-end closing, including revenue recognition. You also make substantive and process-related contributions to activities such as preparing the annual financial statements and the interim audit, working with the financial controllers and the Finance Manager when necessary.
In this role as Controller or bookkeeper, a broad interest in business processes is required, with a strong focus on optimizing administrative processes and internal control measures.

Your responsibilities include, among others:
- Performing financial administration tasks, including supervision and control of all transactions.

Monthly financial closing.

Managing and controlling the revenue recognition process.

Preparing financial reports and conducting analyses.

Making proposals for improvements.

Reporting to the Finance Manager;

Monitoring the financial position of the organization(s);

Ensuring that financial transactions are processed efficiently and accurately;

Assisting in the preparation of external audits;

Creating (financial) transparency both internally and externally.
