Hoek flowers, part of Hoek group, continues to expand its business activities in Northern Germany by acquiring three companies: Meyer Blumen, Kees de Lange and Mindener. In addition, the company has also started a partnership with the German Interfleur.

Opportunity for growth

Ruben Hoek (CEO) and Gerben van Duijvenbode (CCO) explain: “Hoek flowers has been active in Germany for three years now, delivering fresh flowers, plants and florist items directly to florists. Through the strategic acquisitions of the above-mentioned companies, we are further expanding our reach in Northern Germany. We are proud of the trust we have received in this. These acquisitions and the collaboration with the companies not only strengthen our current position in the market, but also offer opportunities for further growth in the future.”

In 2024, Hoek flowers will continue to focus on investing in innovative and more sustainable methods to optimize the service provided to florists. “For example, our ‘Origin Direct’ concept, where florists can directly purchase a selection of flowers from South America, Kenya or South Africa, represents a valuable addition for our customers in Northern Germany. This not only offers them a more favourable price, but also guarantees high-quality and unique products directly from the grower, all year round.
